Design and Materials
Every piece of Expressions of Plana Cay is unique and original. My sea glass comes from the beaches of the Caribbean Islands and the northwest Pacific coast. Glass discarded in the ocean is not natural but the sea has the ability over time to break down, smooth out and texture each piece into unique shapes that reveal the intrinsic beauty of the glass.  In many ways, our lives are like sea glass.  Over the years, we can lose our rough edges, become smooth to the touch and develop a texture that becomes our unique personality and reveals our intrinsic beauty given to us by our Creator.

Sterling silver wire, hasps, and crimps are used for these handmade pieces. Glass beads are used to express the varying colors of the sea and enhance the color, shape, and texture of the sea glass.  A stainless steel Soft Flex wire is used to ensure the structural integrity of each piece.
